Within the lines of action designed by FOC and to achieve the objectives it sets and which address the dissemination of cultural content, based on photography and still images, the promotion of its creators, and the cultural agents who make it. possible, the launch of a network at national and European level that favors collaborative work, and the creation of a circuit of exhibition, creation, research and cultural mediation through photography and the visual arts that interact with this medium , we have designed the following proposals:

Daniel Belinchón
Sociologist, Master in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat Jaume I. Cultural manager and producer.
He is currently the promoter and director of FOC (Photography Cultural Observatory) from where he organizes the FEM FOC (National Meeting of Directors of Photography Festivals) with the support of the Consortium of Museums of the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencia 2019), of the Provincial Council of Castellón (Castellón 2021) and the Soria City Council (Soria 2023) and the three editions of the FER FOC (FOC Professional Photography Fair), supported by the Castellón Provincial Council (Castellón, 2021, 2022 and 2023).
He is the promoter and curator of the “La Visual del Mercat Central” Project, carried out thanks to the support of the Castellón City Council (Castellón 2019-2023).
Between 2001 and 2013 he was coordinator of the Photography Classroom of the Universitat Jaume I where he launched the Llotja del Cànem exhibition space, a room dedicated exclusively to the exhibition of photographic work in Castellón, a national reference space. He also creates the Imaginaria Photography Fest, which he directs without interruption in its 20 editions (2003-2022), currently the oldest photography festival in the Valencian Community and one of the most important at the national level.
He also director of seminars, workshops and training courses on topics related to visual culture, art and photography. During this time he has participated in the creation of more than 750 exhibition samples, mainly photographic, doing curatorial tasks, exhibition design, final art and exhibition montages. He currently combines his work as a freelance cultural manager and producer, with the activity of a teacher in non-regulated training, and as an advisor-consultant in the design of cultural projects.
